Supporting Local Authorities to remove barriers and promote learning to children in their communities
At Adventure Tuition we offer professional, trustworthy and high‑quality Alternative Provision for pupils aged 5–18 who cannot attend mainstream school or who need support beyond the classroom. We partner with local authorities and schools to deliver bespoke education and teaching to children missing out on education and with a variety of barriers to their learning and wellbeing. We help local authorities to reduce the need for further referrals by developing reintegration packages with clear outcomes for all children.

Our tailor made packages for individual children, ensure that professionals get it right for every child - there is nothing generic about our services. We support children who are either in school or other educational provision that complements other forms of support as well as for children not in school as part of EOTAS packages. We operate in homes, schools, community hubs and online as well as supporting home schooled children.
We offer part-time, flexible education for young people. We support children with a range of needs including,
medical, emotional, or complex additional needs.

All of our teachers are fully qualified (QTS) and experienced. Our ethos is on developing confidence through enriching and targeted support for every child and not generic packages.

Cost effective
We focus on outcomes. We offer a high quality service which is time bonded with a clear plan for what's next for each child. Many children reintegrate into mainstream schools, colleges or specialist settings following our intervention. This keeps costs down for local authorities and schools. Our collaborative approach includes reintegration support both online and face to face.

We are completely child centred. Putting children's best interests at the heart of our alternative provision. We listn to children and young people so that they can work towards positive outcomes and achieving their best. We teach children to have confidence, love learning and feel excited about their future education and lives.

Fully qualified teachers
We are a small, family run company. We carefully select our teachers from a range of expert backgrounds. All of our teachers are fully qualified primary and secondary teachers so children can benefit from their dedication, passion and experiencer. This includes SEND, dyslexia, ADHD, ASD and SEMH, trauma informed specialists.

What makes Adventure Tuition different from other alternative provision providers?
We are a small, family run company. We know our children and families well. forging positive relationships. We carefully assess children's needs and work with them in the right way. We think about outcomes, making time bonded plans so that children work towards goals. We arent tutors we are teachers, fully qualified and experienced individuals who have always wanted to teach.
Where do you deliver tuition?
We offer tuition online, in homes and at schools, community centres and meeting places.
How long will it take to arrange support for my child?
We will come back with options withing 48 hours of a referral and as soon as we have details support can begin, this usually takes between 5 and 14 days.
Do you have a minimum number of children you support?
No, we offer one to one tuition and group tuition. We will suggest that children go in groups if it is more appropriate. Its down to the organisation, families and children as to what type of support they choose.
How do you keep children and teachers safe?
We care committed to keeping young children safe. We have clear policies for whistleblowing, reporting concerns and working with our social care partners. All of our teachers have level 2 safeguarding training when delivering alternative provision and we have a dedicated DSL. We have a vigilant approach to safe recruitment and all teachers hold an enhanced, clear DBS check.
What subjects are covered?
We offer primary tuition and secondary tuition across a range of subjects including, maths, English, science, languages. We also offer SEMH sessions to build confidence, creative writing, book groups and specialist dyslexia support.
Can you provide mentors?
We do offer mentoring on request.
What if my young person refuses to attend or engage?
We monitor attendance and work to break down and anticipate barriers to attendance. We report weekly on attendance and progress.
How do you risk assess?
We follow our safeguarding policy and create bespoke risk assessments where appropriate.
